It was in 1997 that construction of what is now the Resort’s 18-
hole championship golf course began. Today, some 20 years
later, our Resort has gone on to receive some of the world’s
highest accolades.
Aphrodite Hill’s Golf has recently attained top honours and the
highest standard recognition in golf, the PGA National, Cyprus,
one of only six in Europe.

On 12 December 2017, the International Association of Golf
Tour Operators voted Aphrodite Hills Resort as the European
Golf Resort of the Year 2018. This was announced at the Palais
de Congress in Cannes, France, in front of an audience of
1500 international golf tourism delegates at the opening of the
International Golf Tourism Market. Our Vision to become the
Best Golf Resort in Europe is now a reality.

Reflecting on the successes of the last 12 months, we look
forward with excitement to 2018, as our Resort continues to evolve in a way that meets the needs of today’s
global traveller.
